His background includes significant contributions to promoting U.S. business interests within the context of U.S.-Iran trade diplomacy and the JCPOA negotiations, where recalibrated sanctions policies enabled economic détente.

A graduate of Howard University School of Law with a focus on international trade, Mohsen combines his academic training with practical experience. He served as a summer associate for Mylan, N.V. During his time at the University of Maryland, Mohsen was a prominent student leader and political activist, addressing critical issues such as the erosion of civil liberties and the overreach of U.S. foreign policy. These formative experiences shaped his dedication to justice and equity and continue to fuel his work in the realm of U.S. sanctions law.
